基本的にデスクトップのLGA1700用のCore 12世代系CPU(Alder Lake-S)のほぼ全て(Core i9-12900KSは2024年7月1日発表分で生産終了済)が2026年1月6日で「生産終了」をIntelが発表しており、2026年1月22日の最終出荷で生産終了する予定です。
「DDR4/DDR5両対応」且つ「Core 13/14世代のシリコン劣化問題で唯一被害を受けなかった世代」が生産終了なのは残念としか言いようがありません。

Intel B660/H670/Z690の生産も2026年1月6日に生産終了
同時にデスクトップのLGA1700用チップセット「B660/H670/Z690」の生産終了も2026年1月6日で「生産終了」を発表。
こちらも最終出荷終了日は「2026年1月22日」となっており、後任の「B760/H770/Z790」で対応と言った形になります。

Intel Core 12世代系のノート向けCPU(Alder Lake U/P/H)が2026年1月6日で「生産終了」をIntelが発表しており、最終出荷日の2026年1月23日以降は新規の入手が行えなくなります。
DDR4/DDR5の高騰問題で13世代、14世代のCPUが値上がりを始めている

2025年Q4頃から現在進行形で発生している「DDR4/DDR5高騰問題」で、DDR4/DDR5両対応のIntel Core 13/14世代のCPUの需要が伸びているためか価格の上昇が既に始まっており、「Core i5-14600K」の価格を2年で比較すると2025年9月頃の3万を切った辺りから上昇が始まり、2025年1月下旬現在で4.1～4.3万前後に上昇してしまっています。
欲しい時が買い時
既に底値で買えるタイミングは逃してしまっているので「欲しい時が買い時」という事で、今更ながら「Core i5-14600K」を追加で購入しました。
これでDDR4環境でもDDR5環境でもCPUを移し替えることなく、マザーボードごとに動作確認を取る事が出来るようになったので、不良発生時の原因切り分けがやりやすくなったはず。
