INDIEGOGO版GPD PocketのUpdateが更新、Ubuntuのファームはほぼ完成したもののバグ取りでもう少し時間が掛かりそう #GPD #GPDPocket

INDIEGOGOで出資された方向けのGPD Pocketページにて「Update」が本日更新されました。

内容は以下の通り。

For the backers who have received Pocket and have meet issue about the pocket, please kindly note that the email address wade@gpd.hk is not a regular one to contact, for any issue of your pocket, you can email to Kendyz@gpd.hk for quick contact and help, Kendy will come back to you ASAP.

For the backers who wants to change the Ubuntu version to Windows version, please also contact Kendy for changing.

For the backers who has not received the awards, please kindly wait for a few more days. We are arranging shipments almost every week, even though can not arrange a huge orders in one time, we will send the awards to all the backers finally, please give us more patience and confidence. Also please double check if you have provided full and correct shipping address, contact phone number, and consignee,etc (because there are still many backers have not provided the full information yet). If you have not provide full information, please email Kendyz@gpd.hk to provide the information. It is overseas shipment, the couriers need us to provide all the necessary information to them.

Now the Ubuntu firmware is almost finished, but we got some small bugs need to be solved, even though we do not know the exact date, we will solve it and release to backers soon.

We will release the Pledge ID and tracking number once arrange the shipments. Please check the updates area to get the updates of your shipment.

GPD PocketのUbuntu版を選択された方向けのメッセージが含まれており「Ubuntu版のファームウェアは完成したものの小さなバグがあり、それを解決した後(いつになるかは不明)に出荷予定。」とのこと。

(正直それは完成と言ってしまってはいけない気が。)

またWindows 10版を選択した出資者へのメッセージも有り「私たちはほぼ毎週出荷しており、最終的に全出資者に商品を発送する。次の出荷ができ次第Updateでお知らせする」とのこと。

この他にも「INDIEGOGOで出資し、既に商品を受け取った方の中で何か問題があった方は「Kendyz@gpd.hk」宛てに連絡して欲しい」とのこと。

来月8月4日には国内向けのGPD Pocket(Dent Online Shop扱い)の販売が始まる予定ですが、INDIEGOGOで出資した日本人向けの数は500台程度(初回100台+2次200台+3次100台)となっており、そこまで多くは無い状態のため「発売予定日の8月4日に出荷されるのか、そもそも予約数分はその日に出荷されるのか」等心配すべき事項はたくさんありそうです。
